Scripture Union Bookshop is a business in the retail industry that markets Christian books and resources.

 

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 working days and delivery confirmed by way of order and tracking numbers.

 

The provision of goods and services by Scripture Union Bookshop is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Scripture Union Bookshop will refund the client in full within 7 days.

 

Orders may be cancelled any time before shipping. Once the parcel has shipped, items may only be returned in the case of damage or if the incorrect product was shipped. In this case the product will be replaced, or if it cannot be replaced, a full refund will be given. The damaged/incorrect product must be returned (including all original packaging) within 10 working days. Scripture Union will arrange for the collection and return of the damaged/incorrect product at its own expense. 

 

Scripture Union Bookshop shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card credit/cheque cards, Electron, Maestro Debit Cards, or by bank transfer into the Scripture Union Bookshop bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. 

If making an over-the-counter cash deposit please include a deposit fee of R60.00 with your payment. Standard Bank ATM cash deposits are free. 

 

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Scripture Union Bookshop by Virtual Card Services who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. ShopDirect uses SSL3 and credit card information is stored per Visa and Mastercard guidelines on the website. Users may go to www.shopdirect.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.  

 

Customer details will be stored by Scripture Union Bookshop separately from card details which are entered by the client on ShopDirect’s secure site. For more detail on ShopDirect refer to www.shopdirect.co.za.

 

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).

 

Scripture Union Bookshop takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer services and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

 

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Scripture Union Bookshop chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 14 Park Rd, Rondebosch, Cape Town.

 

Scripture Union Bookshop may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
