Surprised By Grace

~ This book is the memoir of a missionary, not amongt primitive tribes, but amongst increasingly sophisticated teenagers. Unexpectedly overwhelmed by the intervention of a gracious God as a 34 year old schoolmaster, I began a journey that still has not ended.



Michael Arnold was educated at St John's College, Johannesburg, and holds degrees from Rhodes and Oxford. He taught for many years at St Andrew's College, Grahamstown, and has been successively Chaplain at Clayesmore School, Dorset, and Senior Chaplain at St Jogn's College, Johannesburg.
